Equipping for every day.

EQUIP aim

EQUIP women aims to equip women for every good work by faithful teaching of God’s word.  All women (whether Christian or not) are very welcome.

EQUIP history

EQUIP began in 1999 when 135 women from 7 churches joined together for a day conference. It was known as the ‘Young Evangelical Women’s Conference’. Under God EQUIP has grown into a large ministry for women of all backgrounds from across New South Wales and interstate. In 2008, 3800 women attended EQUIP08 at the Sydney Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, and the EQUIP bookclub and EQUIP ministry wives were both launched.

EQUIP feedback

- EQUIP was awesome!!  So polished and professional with enough humour and deep teaching to reach everyone. I brought along a new Christian. She was blown away. Never been to anything like that before.

- I was especially convicted by how we are adulterous towards God by saying the we love God and then act as though we love the world. Thankyou for the time and effort that you put into refreshing and biblical talks.  I know that many people were encouraged.  I look forward to next year.

- It was a wonderful day - great teaching & great to see so many women pouring into the Convention centre (what a tremendous witness to the city !!) It all went off really smoothly - morning tea was delicious and the guy ushers did a marvellous job too. Everything was excellent & God-honouring. We’ll bring lots more friends next year.

- EQUIP was the best conference I had ever been to, so challenged & changed my life.

- Just wanted to write to say I absolutely loved EQUIP yesterday (even with a massive headache). Luckily the panadols kicked in! Much to think about and put into action.

- Thanks for opening God’s word to us. I no longer want to be a double minded Christian or a ‘decaf’ Christian. It has really helped me to put things into perspective and to refocus my relationship with God. Thanks so much.

- My first EQUIP conference and I loved it. I’ve always found excuses in the past years not to attend, but received more value than the money I forfeited by not working this afternoon. See you all next year!

- I’ve been praying to God that He would convict me of my sin. I think today was the answer to that prayer. Thank you

- As a member of the Catholic church, I have been feeling unfulfilled and ‘lost’. I have been invited here by a very special friend. I find the speakers inspiring and felt they were talking ‘to me’ and dealt with many concerns and issues challenging me at the moment. Thank you - I will now go and find comfort in my very dusty Bible sitting in my bookcase.

- It was great to see that there was a translator for sign language - makes you appreciate our senses we take for granted, but that the gospel is shared with those lacking in this area.

- Loved it and am so grateful for the EQUIP team and the way you go beyond what’s required to make EQUIP precious and valuable for growing in godliness.

- Morning tea boxes great - much better than 05 where we ran out of food!

- EQUIP was once again great.  The talks hit a few raw nerves for a few people but in an ok way. We’ll be coming up from Canberra again next year!

EQUIP Idea #15

How can we best share the gospel with our friends?
