Who is EQUIPmin for?

EQUIPmin is for women who are in vocational ministry. If you are employed in a particular, Word based (ie. Bible teaching/pastoring) ministry in either a full-time or part-time capacity, whether paid or not, then EQUIPmin is for you! Whatever Christian denomination or organisation you belong to, if you have a teaching or pastoral role then we would love you to come along and invite female colleagues to come with you.

I am a Ministry Apprentice. Is EQUIPmin for me?

Unfortunately, at this stage EQUIPmin is not designed for women who are still in ministry training.

I am a Ministry Wife and so have an unoffical ministry role in supporting my husband's ministry. Is EQUIPmin for me?

Because we already run a specific conference for ministry wives (click here for more information about EQUIPmin wives) at this stage EQUIPmin is not designed for ministry wives who themselves are not in specific vocational ministry.

Why is EQUIPmin a Residential Conference?

The residential aspect of EQUIPmin is one of it's unique strengths. Away from the busyness of ministry, we will have three days to get to know each other, to talk about important issues facing women in ministry, to relax (eating, drinking and enjoying some down time), to pray and to explore God's word together.

Can I come to EQUIPmin for just one day and/or one night?

the residential aspect of EQUIPmin is so important to the conference's aims and goals, we strongly encourage you to attend the conference in a full-time capacity. However, we do recognise that the life of women in vocational ministry can be very busy! And so we do have part-time options available. You can select which part-time option suits you when you register.

I’m not sure if my payment went through.

You should have received a payment receipt from PayPal and a confirmation email from EQUIP ministry wives. If you didn’t receive either of these emails, then your registration and payment have not been received. If you only received a confirmation email from EQUIP ministry wives (and not a PayPal receipt), then it is likely that your payment was not received. You can check the balance owing by clicking the invoice link in your confirmation email. If money is still owing, go to the Modify Your Registration link (also in the confirmation email) and complete the payment process. Your invoice will now show a $0 balance.

I've lost my ticket - what should I do?

If you registered online then you should have received your e-ticket via email. Please print it out and bring it on the day. If you registered by post then please call (02) 8006 4636 or email enquiries@equip.org.au to have a new ticket sent out to you.

What will my contact details be used for?

EQUIP collects personal information about you for the purposes of administering our events. We will use it to contact you in relation to events you are attending, and to occasionally inform you of future events that we believe you might be interested in. Should you receive a marketing email and find that you no longer want to receive this type of contact, you will have the option to ‘unsubscribe’ from future mailings. EQUIP will not pass your personal information on to any third party, except as necessary for the administration of our events.

Both video and still photography is taken at EQUIP conferences for future marketing purposes, and images of delegates may be used in marketing material such as our website and brochures. If you do not wish to appear on advertising material, please contact us at enquiries@equip.org.au and let us know.

What's your policy on refunds?

We do not offer refunds on tickets already purchased. If you are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another woman at no further cost. You can do this using the link in your confirmation email and updating the details previously provided. A new confirmation email will not be sent, but a ticket will appear on your Record of Registration page. Please print this for use by the new delegate.
