What facilities are available for mums and bubs?
Mothers who are nursing babies are very welcome to bring them to EQUIP. The Sydney Convention Centre is easily accessible for mums with prams via lifts on each level and ramps throughout. A crying room with video linkage to the main conference will be available, and there is plenty of foyer space for walking with prams. Please make use of these facilities should your baby become upset. Our team of friendly ushers will direct you to the best place to sit with your baby and pram, and assist you in accessing the crying room. Please let us know at the time of registration if you will be bringing your baby to the conference.
Are there childcare facilities for older children?
Unfortunately, we do not have facilities to be able to care for toddlers or older children. However, nursing babies are very welcome, with special facilities for Mums with Bubs.
What if I have special access requirements?
We make every effort to provide assistance for those with disability requirements. For example, the Exhibition centre is fully wheelchair accessible and we have accredited Auslan Interpreters during the daylight session (the Main Auditorium also has a hearing loop). If you require disability assistance please email us at enquiries@equip.org.au after registering to advise us of your needs and we’ll be only too glad to help.
I require an AUSLAN interpreter.
We provide accredited Auslan Interpreters during the daylight session (the Main Auditorium also has a hearing loop). Selected electives also offer Auslan interpreters. Please let us know at the time of registration if you require an Auslan interpreter.
I've lost my ticket - what should I do?
If you registered online then you should have received your e-ticket via email. Please print it out and bring it on the day. If you registered by post then please call (02) 8006 4636 or email enquiries@equip.org.au to have a new ticket sent out to you.
Can I swap my elective?
Electives are allocated in order of registration, so we cannot guarantee that you will get your new preference. However, you can enquire about changing your elective by contacting Dave at AFES on +612 8006 4636 or at enquiries@equip.org.au (AFES are the administrators of the EQUIP conferences).
I’m not sure if my payment went through.
You should have received a payment receipt from PayPal and a confirmation email from EQUIP ministry wives. If you didn’t receive either of these emails, then your registration and payment have not been received. If you only received a confirmation email from EQUIP ministry wives (and not a PayPal receipt), then it is likely that your payment was not received. You can check the balance owing by clicking the invoice link in your confirmation email. If money is still owing, go to the Modify Your Registration link (also in the confirmation email) and complete the payment process. Your invoice will now show a $0 balance.

What is the difference between Daylight and Twilight?
The two conferences are the same, just different times. Choose the time that best suits you.
EQUIP daylight (9:00 am – 3:30pm)
A very popular choice for a day out with the girls. Enjoy fantastic Bible teaching, music and interviews, and eat lunch by the harbour. EQUIP Daylight also offers an Auslan interpreter for the two main talks and an elective.
EQUIP twilight (2:30pm – 7:45pm)
The ideal choice for soccer mums and for those who like a sleep-in after a busy week of work or study. EQUIP twilight has the same great program with its own evening vibe.
What is a Key Contact?
'Key Contacts' promote the EQUIP conference to groups of women such as their friends, bible study group, church and at their work. We post packets to our Key Contacts several months before the conference with extra brochures, group registration forms and any additional promotional materials we have that year. Through personal invitation, word of mouth and the help of our Key Contacts, EQUIP women has grown to over 4000 women attending each year!
What will my contact details be used for?
EQUIP collects personal information about you for the purposes of administering our events. We will use it to contact you in relation to events you are attending, and to occasionally inform you of future events that we believe you might be interested in. Should you receive a marketing email and find that you no longer want to receive this type of contact, you will have the option to ‘unsubscribe’ from future mailings. EQUIP will not pass your personal information on to any third party, except as necessary for the administration of our events.
Both video and still photography is taken at EQUIP conferences for future marketing purposes, and images of delegates may be used in marketing material such as our website and brochures. If you do not wish to appear on advertising material, please contact us at enquiries@equip.org.au and let us know.
What's your policy on refunds?
We do not offer refunds on tickets already purchased. If you are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another woman at no further cost. You can do this using the link in your confirmation email and updating the details previously provided. A new confirmation email will not be sent, but a ticket will appear on your Record of Registration page. Please print this for use by the new delegate.
