How Long, O Lord? is our classic read for 2022, and a book you ideally want to read before being challenged by suffering and evil. It is for the thoughtful Christian, who wants to understand what the Bible has to say on the subject and be equipped with right thinking, so that when walking in dark and hard times she can find comfort in God himself. If you are experiencing personal hardship, the book will be a confronting read, but all the more worth working through. Each chapter ends with questions, so you can use the book for private reflection, or you can read with others and discuss. The book is not ‘light reading’, so reading with someone else might give you the encouragement you need to finish it.
