How to run a Jonah party

Preparation

  • Pick a 1 hour time slot, a few weeks before EQUIP. For example, Sunday May 31.

  • Invite women along (eg your growth group).

Program

  • Context: Give out the EQUIP bookmarks, and locate Jonah on the timeline.

  • Read each chapter of Jonah one at a time, stopping to briefly ask ‘What did you find surprising’?

  • Pray for the thousands of women coming to EQUIP, especially unbelievers to come to understand God’s mercy in Jesus.

  • Watch the ‘How to Read Jonah Video’ (Coming soon).

  • Eat some Assyrian food.
